In baseball, the best of the best are called Five Tool players. They can do it all: hit for power, hit for average, speedy baserunning, powerful throwing arm and outstanding fielding skills.

Michael Singer is what I would call a Five Tool spiritual teacher.

His teachings make sense. They are deep and powerful. They are delivered in a way that is relatable to we mere mortals…in language that is eloquent and resonant. And lastly, he performs all of the above with the utmost enthusiasm; i.e, he NEVER phones it in.

Mickey’s super helpful talks

To give you a sense of how important I deem his teachings, I listen to his talks five out of seven days a week, on average.

Some of his teachings are deep and serious. Others are deep and funny. Today’s piece is about one of the latter.
